My Marriage Compatibility List

Often I have heard and been taught that before picking a spouse you need to look out for Compatibility areas. So, since it is a life time journey, from my readings and inspiration, i came up with this compatibility list.

1. Spiritual Compatibility  (Amos 3:3)
2. Financial Compatibilty ( Heb 13:5, Matt6:24 , Prov 17:16)
3. Character Compatibility (Prov 22:24)
4. Emotional Compatibility (Prov 27:17)
5. Communication Compatibility ( Eph 4:26, Prov 18:13)
6. Physical Compatibility (1 Pet 3:3-4, Gen 24:16, Gen 29:17, I sam 16:12, Est 2:7)

And there we have it. Still not sure if Educational compatibility should be included. Let me know what you think or if you have other prime compatibility or supporting scriptures. 🙂

YOUR PERFECT MAN FOR ME

Your opinion of my prefect man is perfect. I appreciate your love because in your eyes I see he is perfect. The right height, appropriate age, prefect skin colour, fine eyes, glittering teeth and those drop dead abs with the right number of veins on his muscular skin, being able to lift me up to touch the moon and put me in a sweet dream(#put me to bed).

So I got to thinking;

Did you check if he has the right heart and loves the Most High?

Did you check just his skin or the scares that are born out of unconditional sacrifices?

Are his eyes just fine or do you think he will fill me life with fun and laughter and make me smile out my white teeth?

Is he just aged or mature?

Is it just the veins or you’re sure he will value me and bring out the best in me?

Is it just about lifting my body what happens to my Spirit?

Will i just have sweet dreams or be in the sweet place at the end of life?

Your answer will make me look into your opinion for me.

BOAZ

Ruth had her man and he was called Boaz. My Boaz is not called Boaz but has BOAZ traits

B: – Boldly identifies me uniquely as his in this world of  many varieties and similarities

O: -Originally a smart worker & focused on His purpose and family

A: -Attractive and pays attention to my needs and that of others. Empathy is him

Z: Zealously loves God and works for God

There is a BOAZ out there for every daughter of the King. Trust His timing and trust your timing. No room for anxiety and comparisons. Stay focused and excited for yours is coming.

How To Be Found By Yours- 4

Personally i love love. So do not get it twisted, love is a beautiful thing. Does that mean we should go about worrying about love and who will love us or who we will love? Well no. Love is seeking (purposefully) not worrying. Seeking to be and do things right and in perspective. Marriage is for eternity and is meant to bring glory to The marriage Creator. This brings me to my 4th Tip

I Don’t Want Your House

I’m not sure if I understand why some things are the way they are or seem but for sure some things are just out of place

Everyone wants to have their own things and be their own bosses that is so fine, me too i want that. Now you get my point , I understand this but for Ladies especially to just want to get married because it’s the necessary thing, to be in a big house and have your own living room? I think it’s pretty shallow.

No don’t get me wrong I love fine houses, nothing is wrong in having a great house but a great home should be what we go after. I’m tired of being in houses; the best you can give people is a home, that serene place, filled with love, joy, laughter, peace, God. A place where even after a tiring day, once foot is step in it feels like work never existed.

People build houses and we make a home. So ladies, do not just strive to get into a man’s house. Work at giving him and your family a home.

Inspirational Quote: Progression

This is not the norm for most Christians and born-again singles. Potential without progression, is the same as ignorance. And we all know how ignorance causes perishing. Pick a progressive man/woman not just one idling with potentials.

For or Against Arranged Dating?

 

Many people have varied views on and against arranged married. The truth is whether arranged or not, all requires smart work to make the best of it. What about arranged dating ? or in a more 21^sT Century style; hook-up?

It sounds like a cliché question yet we see this happen to us or those around us every now and then. It’s basically parents, friends or relations connecting us with a man or guy on the grounds that we get to know them on a more personal note a develop a relationship with them be it healthy and not. Do not get me wrong, God uses people but we must be guided

Arrange dating is usually done for many reasons not limited to the supposed need for love, relationship, sex, money, events partners etc

At one point in time, a lovely cousin thought my singleness was too long gone and need for me to break free from my “ limiting lifestyle” and get a boyfriend as I was neither seen with a guy or talking about one or more importantly social “mediaing” a relationship with boo. So she arranged for me to meet a buddy of hers as he too kind of like the pictures of me he had seen. Good motives she had but given that we were not on the same part of life I should not have looked into the offer because even though then I was sloppy with my Christian race I still knew that certain people “scammers, yahoo yahoo guys or con men should not be the kind I should be around, You know what they say about the company you keep.

Because my love level for God was on the low and also given the fact that I knew our meeting up will not come from my pocket I went along. It was both wasted time and worth reducing just hanging around them but I guess it was for a day as today as I encourage someone to choose better.

The point is this, it is not wrong for people to want to arrange a partner for you if that is what you prefer or want but then, who is the head of the arrangement? How do this person they are arranging fit into your life and purpose? What is their take on the things that are prime to you? We all need help in life but we have to mindful of who is making the arrangement and if it aligns with your lives purposes and if God is at the center of it. If not please walk away. Do not try to save face and destroy your life.

Advice: You can look for it and read all about it in the book of the Eternal One.
None of these creatures will be missing and none will lack a mate
Because His voice has given the order
and His Spirit has gathered them in that place.Isa34:16. God is faithful. His Spirit will gather yours to you if you stay fervent

 

“Marriage is not for me”

I was watching this interesting interview on “marriage is not for me” by “our “icons Shonda Rhimes and Oprah Winfrey. You know there is just something about information and especially from people we look up to, or are celebrities. Personally I think some of the most twisted ideas are from the so say icons and the truth is behind closed doors the reality of their global speeches holds on to them.

The truth is everyone is entitled to your opinion. I just do not understand how you will want your life to be everyone’s life. You can have kids with a man but a man will take up your time? How twisted is that? Well that is not the essence of this post today.

Marriage is for me (1 Cor 7:2b). Do you want to know why?

• It is a gift from my creator (1Cor 7:7)
• It is honourable (Heb 13:4)
• It should not be forbidden ( 1Tim 4:3)
• It is responsibility ( 1 Cor 7:33)
• It is not a sin ( 1 Cor 7:28)

Do not fear what they fear or speak what they speak. Have a mind of your own and not generalities. There is a man or wan out there for you as husband or wife but still if you are not “CALLED “to be married it is still great. God does not speak English, He uses ENGLISH. To be continued ….
