I am not sure about you but we need to really sit up as believers in our walk with God and also stand in the gap for the church. The world has no issues diversifying the magnitude of its havoc but then the church is being turned into a cover for many us and no longer the covering which the blood wrought.

• We do not take care of our families (covering)and then we come and pay tithes (cover) and pick up announcements on the alter.
• We sleep with fellow married and unmarried brethren and then usher people into pews on service days with holy smiles
• We lie and gossip and then pick up the microphone and close our eyes in worship ministrations
• …….. the list is endless

Service will never replace the Foundation that stands sure” they that name the name of the Lord must depart from evil

Sloppy Grace

I had no intentions of blogging today but the truth is that you come across some truths that gets you thinking and #making you want to share with others.

Many a Christians do not understand grace, we use grace.

Grace abounds not Grace on a perpetual rebound (continuing in wrong  so it abounds)

I Don’t Want To Change My Faith

If you are a Christian  (BORN AGAIN) from my part of the world then you probably have heard this statement more than once in your life time” i don’t want to change my faith”. it has become so common that you find yourself ignorantly trying to justify the good you are trying to do ( this is especially common when you go out for evangelism or when encouraging a friend to follow you to church to hear God’s word with you etc ). you even meet a man that wants to marry you and he tells you that you have to change your faith to be his wife ( he actually means church). Faith is not a church people. Faith is not a location. We Christians have to work on our grammar? it sounds like believing in Jesus Christ equals change of cloths from a closet full

It gets you wondering if you both are Christians or some parts of the bible are just out of place.One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:5. You begin to wonder ;was i asking you to stop believing in Jesus Christ? Our faith is stayed on Him. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. So what faith don’t you want to change?

Unashamed- Beach Attitude

We knelt on the beach, prayed, (Acts 20:5b NOG)

We are not a cult but lovers of the creator of the heavens and the earth. I have been blessed by the passage above. In prayers our posture is as vital as our actions and position. When Paul was set to sail after being warned not the go to Jerusalem yet, he stay and was once his stay was over, the disciples and their families set out to see him off to the new location. They got to the beach and knelt down and prayed.We have to grow in our love to begin to spend time with Him everywhere especially in this century. I see non-Christians pray by the road side and every possible place so long as its prayer time so unashamed.

Kneeling is a vital position in PRAYER. You might be wondering why the beach? It is important as it is a quiet place or populous one but most importantly God is calling our attention to the fact that we have to be open to Him in prayer, unashamed of who is next to us, or who is watching and what they are saying. We have to be totally open if we will see Him manifest by answered prayers.

Develop a beach attitude each time you set to seek God. Be open, be free and be unashamed as you approach the mercy sit daily. Stay blessed

HOLD THAT MEETING WITH YOURSELF

Your heart has been broken again and again. My heart reaches out to you

It’s been one failed friendship to the next. I know it’s hard

You failed that exam over and over. I don’t think its hard luck

You have been working at that job so hard, yet nothing to show for it. Maybe working SMART is an option.

You see people get into this fix most of it not all of the time and all they do is blame other people, blame the economy, accuse people’s attitude but they never look within.

True change and progress comes when you sit down and have a meeting without self. The worst of all flatteries is SELF FLATTERY. You can not lie to you that will only make you stupid that is why even the bible says check to see if you are STANDING. Have a talk with yourself. Forget others and be honest to you and you will be amazed and the changes you will make and help you can get to make you all better.

I pray that this goes a long way to help you. You are special, you are loved and you are chosen.

Not Necessarily

The church is not your approval. So do not be surprised if you see so much that is out of place. Stay your focus on He who called you.

We can only see people’s face and not their hearts. So kill the expectation from men.

DEFINE LOVE

Growing up, I’m thankful I am alive.

It was a large family and so hard to get attention

I could not tell if I belonged or I was loved

I really had no definition for love

The smiles and the laughs and the fun stories and came but hard to know if genuine

Schooling in a boarding new land, made the difference

I had sense a GREATER POWER. I knew there was more to it but I don’t know how or why

New friends cycled in. Minds began sharing and that I heard the call

Spiritual emphasis week was its name

That was how my change began, a glorious one

I met HIM. Still wondering, going my own way, doing my own things

His love kept bringing me back. I am here to stay by GRACE

Now I can DEFINE LOVE because I met its originator

I no longer wonder attention, I have UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

His love is ever flowing

His love is ever standing

His love never runs dry, it keeps flowing and reaching

Reach out to his love. Life is not perfect but God will never hurt you

Bewitching

Walking ins the flesh is being bewitched

In my part of the world it is a normal happening in families, communities, schools etc. You hear of all kinds of stories and hey they are very real (the earth is full of the dark places of cruelty). Not fictions like Harry Porter and many other witching series. It is true that the wickedness of human kind is taking the devil by surprise. However it is not about “vodooing” or black magic I am writing about.

O foolish “Christians”! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth (Gal 3:1a)

Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the [Holy] Spirit, are you now reaching perfection [by dependence] on the flesh? (Gal 2:3)

Everything we ever had and will have came to us through the Spirit by faith. What happened to our walk with God? It has moved to a point that it is all sight and fleshy, following economic predictions, hearsay, observations etc. We now judge our future and our progress and destiny by what we hear and see; no longer what He says in His Word: this is real bewitching. We have so walked by sight and sense that the devil has bewitched us into being foolish.

Only what He says is suppose to move us. Not what we hear or see. Perfection of all that concerns us is spiritual not physical. Living in disobedience to God’s Word is a sign of bewitchment.

Have you being bewitched? It is time to walk in the spirit so that you will not gratify nonsense.

Labour of Love

Love is hard. It is not as easy it sound. I have had my heart broken and I have broken other hearts. I love love and one fact about love which I am learning to accept is that it is hard

Life will make faces at you but your labour of love will be rewarded

People let you down, you let them down. Others betray your trust you theirs. Love is especially hard when we judge our motive as right. You find yourself reaching out to family, friends, colleagues, church members, communities, calling, texting, sharing, just pouring out yourself. Some appreciate it, others see you as nosy, others thing you are so full of yourself. You sometimes feel like what the heck, why am I bending head on heel for? See keep at it. The labour of love is not an easy one. Ask Jesus Christ and He will tell you.

Love is hard that is why we are encouraged to not grow weary in well doing.Oh yes it can really weary you, feeling so unappreciated.The consolation should not be to gain people’s applause, or taking a bow, It should come from the greater good and knowledge of a far greater glory. He will not forget your labour of love ( Heb 6:10). Even our great God knows that love is labour. Look at your life, how many times have you made God to just want to flip sides if He could, How many times in a day do you grief His Spirit.

Love is hard. Our God is a hard lover and so from Him we draw strength to labour in love. Peace!
