I am not sure about you but we need to really sit up as believers in our walk with God and also stand in the gap for the church. The world has no issues diversifying the magnitude of its havoc but then the church is being turned into a cover for many us and no longer the covering which the blood wrought.

• We do not take care of our families (covering)and then we come and pay tithes (cover) and pick up announcements on the alter.
• We sleep with fellow married and unmarried brethren and then usher people into pews on service days with holy smiles
• We lie and gossip and then pick up the microphone and close our eyes in worship ministrations
• …….. the list is endless

Service will never replace the Foundation that stands sure” they that name the name of the Lord must depart from evil

Sloppy Grace

I had no intentions of blogging today but the truth is that you come across some truths that gets you thinking and #making you want to share with others.

Many a Christians do not understand grace, we use grace.

Grace abounds not Grace on a perpetual rebound (continuing in wrong  so it abounds)

If you are a Christian  (BORN AGAIN) from my part of the world then you probably have heard this statement more than once in your life time” i don’t want to change my faith”. it has become so common that you find yourself ignorantly trying to justify the good you are trying to do ( this is especially common when you go out for evangelism or when encouraging a friend to follow you to church to hear God’s word with you etc ). you even meet a man that wants to marry you and he tells you that you have to change your faith to be his wife ( he actually means church). It gets you wondering if you both are Christians or some parts of the bible are just out of place.One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:5. You begin to wonder ;was i asking you to stop believing in Jesus Christ? Our faith is stayed on Him. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. So what faith don’t you want to change?

Loud Thoughts : Cheating On God

Have you ever been so busy so much that you feel like you are cheating on God? Yes cheating!

You miss out on your bible study schedule, you miss and forget your prayer appointments, activities replace your date hours with Him? This is how I feel some days eg today. However, the good thing is that live is not about feelings and so because I love Him I will not let feelings hurt my heart walk and separate us, I receive His reminders in my spirit. If I dwell on the feeling it becomes a guilt trap of the enemy so I decide not to give it room but instead appreciate the consciousness of the Spirit in me , putting me to remembrance. I will keep pressing into His love in my little mutterings, whispers of thank you Lord under my breath.

Thank God for work but even more thank Him more for seeing Him even in your busy schedules. Happy Palm Sunday

Being Born Again Don’t Mean Stupid!

Now i have had it with people, friends, family, loves one etc that think that because you are born-again, a Jesus lover makes you stupid and gives them room to treat you any how and try to push nonsense attitude and things down your throat

My note to all those who take people in their lives for granted is this:

We have being called to be gentle as doves and yet wise as serpent!!!! Watch it. Being nice does not translate as being stupid, you might be looking at your water-loo soonest. We are working out our salvation with fear and trembling and if it entails adding you to the the trash, it will be done. You need to learn what it means to leave at PEACE WITH ALL MEN. Be warned a word is always sufficient even to the unwise.

Keep yourself in check.

True change and progress comes when you sit down and have a meeting without self. The worst of all flatteries is SELF FLATTERY. You can not lie to you that will only make you stupid that is why even the bible says check to see if you are STANDING. Have a talk with yourself. Forget others and be honest to you and you will be amazed and the changes you will make and help you can get to make you all better.

I pray that this goes a long way to help you. You are special, you are loved and you are chosen.
