Your opinion of my prefect man is perfect. I appreciate your love because in your eyes I see he is perfect. The right height, appropriate age, prefect skin colour, fine eyes, glittering teeth and those drop dead abs with the right number of veins on his muscular skin, being able to lift me up to touch the moon and put me in a sweet dream(#put me to bed).
So I got to thinking;
Did you check if he has the right heart and loves the Most High?
Did you check just his skin or the scares that are born out of unconditional sacrifices?
Are his eyes just fine or do you think he will fill me life with fun and laughter and make me smile out my white teeth?
Is he just aged or mature?
Is it just the veins or you’re sure he will value me and bring out the best in me?
Is it just about lifting my body what happens to my Spirit?
Will i just have sweet dreams or be in the sweet place at the end of life?
Your answer will make me look into your opinion for me.
Beauty of the face
Beauty of the skin
Beauty of the heart
Beauty of the mind
Beauty
All around, beauty is found
Beauty of the spirit
Beauty of the soul
Beauty of character
Beauty of attitude
Beauty
The world, loaded with beauty
Explore your beauty
Let your beauty glorify The Creator of all beauty
You are beautiful
You are Beautiful
You are beautiful
Let His love flow through you
( new song lyric)
Growing up, I wanted to be some many things others were that i was not. I wanted to have big butts, hairy skin because then I thought it was sexy as most people who had hairy skin seemed to be getting more attention from people. I wanted to have ample hips (lol). I know right, it sounds cheesy but that was my honest reality because i thought there was some default to my creation… do not get me wrong i knew i was beautiful . i just felt having all these additionals will make me more beautiful. I wasn’t aware that my mind can be manipulated to think otherwise like creation cheated me.
I believe so many persons in today’s age find themselves in this inadequacy trend that the media and others are placing on us or better still we are taking on. We are only as effective as our acceptance of people’s definition or our definition of ourselves. Learning to love yourself is among the greatest victory you will step into in your life time.
Here came my total liberty. But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” (Rom9:20). If we wonder at creation which took the creator no time to put together in it’s perfect state i.e the fishes in the water bodies, the birds in the sky, human kind on earth.. He is too purposeful to make you unfit for your purpose. You look the way you are not because He fell short in your make-up but it was perfectly designed to fit your destiny. So to love yourself, know that,
You are worth loving because you are a product of love. Learn to love yourself more. How do you love yourself ?
God did not make a mistake with our make-up. He fashioned us right. When we begin to despise the we look and dislike ourselves, we are indirectly telling Him that He missed it in our formation.
Everyone is trying to be like another. Having forms, color and features that was not in the beginning. Do not get me wrong. It was great to look good but be careful not to disdain your creator.
Low self esteem is a real battle in our generation as the media has enhanced and altered the notion of beauty that gains approval and so , so many are trying to log into it by becoming false and almost in recognizable. A little polishing is okay but what is really your motive? Inadequacy or glory?
You are a master piece. he took enough time on us. God is too purposeful to do things anyhow. you are handpicked by God so do not let anyone or anything thing even that stupid thought in your head telling you otherwise. You are amazing just the way you are.
Much love!
Me and my girl were hauled the other day by a “church” guy for our looks. He said , i quote” I love your heart for service and worship but it has to be done write; you have to cover your hair (wear a cap or tie a scarf i guess that is what he meant) before worship( in His PRESENCE)” LOUD THOUGHTS: I carry His presence every where I go why is a spot/place the concern? Hmmmmm
Now I am wondering which is the covering? The hair or the cloth?
Isn’t it obvious that it’s disgraceful for a man to have long hair? And isn’t long hair a woman’s pride and joy? For it has been given to her as a covering. (1 Corinthians 11:14-15)
