2015 Thankfulness

We cried

We laughed

We frowned

We danced

We felt pain

We experienced joy

So much was raging out of course

We experienced Peace

We saw additions (little ones; boys and girls)

We celebrated marriages (near and far)

We lost some friends and even made more new amazing ones

We did increase maybe not in our bank accounts but in Wisdom

We might not have had plenty possessions but we alive in hope

We started off unemployed

Now we are in great jobs (not despising little beginnings)

Truly we are in our multiplied state.

If we think well, We thank well

Thank God for 2015

2016 we welcome you Gloriously

Being a Business and Management student, God has a way of opening our eyes to comprehend Him from the stand point of what we are about.

We are God’s investment and that is why He has called us to more . To lead a life worthy of the Call.

We have been called not to look for what we can GET from people BUT how we can CONTRIBUTE to their lives.

To ensure we do that, God says He will never leave us nor forsake us, so we will not;

• Lack anything
• Be afraid of anything or anybody

Garbage Anger

Its intriguing how one write up triggers another. So I blogged this post; happy new month- new beginnings and a friend @KwiyuhM commented and said “ drop it and let hurt break” and I got into mode- inspired while replying in appreciation to him

After cooking we clean up; like right away (ladies perspective) and if we instead of taking the trash out we lock it up in the bin, waiting for “him” or other family members to take it out for us, we are calling for trouble if they do not agree and it stays in days and days and months and months and even years. Flies start flirting around, maggots grow hard and the smell even spoils the good meal we took so much time to cook. So are Anger/ Unforgiveness

People will or we will hurt others sometimes with or without our or their concern. The choice lies in us to let go of the hurt (cleaning out our trash after cooking) and not wait for them to come beginning ; giving them power over our emotions and our life.

If we however do not let go of the hurt but bottle it in, we will soon stink and people will not like being around us; as bitterness grows and no one likes a “ kill joy presence” around.

So forgive and let go , so you don’t stink with the anger stored in your heart. Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of live

Too many people spend their lives wondering when next that good thing will happen to them. there is nothing wrong with that but the what ” a girl like me” discovered is that good things are not to be waited for they already exit. The Force of a Genuine Smile

The world is all about impact and we wonder how we can impact the world and give back (to me it begins here)

When I smiled at them, they could hardly believe it;
    their faces lit up, their troubles took wing!

I smiled upon them when their confidence flagged,
        and they took comfort in my beaming face (Job29:24)

A smile most often is all we can give

Do not hold back on it

Sometimes all we need is a smile to enforce a change.

A genuine smile from the heart not the “plastic smile”

Try giving out a smile daily and you will be amazed at how many lives will impacted in little ways

Dating can be such a wonderful activity when we date with a purpose. Young people should focus on developing a friendship, instead of focusing on an extreme emotional attachment or intense sexual experience. In this type of relationship, you allow each other a level of respect that will help you to grow together and understand each other’s needs in a healthy and loving way.
Song of Solomon 2:7b states, “Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.”
When God is the center of your relationship and honoring each other is a priority, you are taking the steps that will lead you toward a quality marriage relationship. Most young people want to experience a healthy relationship, but get trapped into thinking that relationships must start with sex or emotional attachments.
